Red tailight overlays from rx8strakes.com

Anyone use them? Do they look good? I've got a Brilliant Black and thinking about getting them.

are you talking about the 3rd eye. if so i have it done and looks fine

hey man forget the overlays... Head to your local AC Moore and grab a can of red spray tint for 8 bucks. Clean the lights well, block out a section for the reverse light if you want (like I did), and spray a few coats until its a dark as you want it. Then get some clear gloss over them and use rubbing compound to shine them up. Best thing is with some acetone it will come right off and not damage the clear lens. Ive done it for inspection. check my old threads and youll find a post w/ picsh

Checked it out. Looks good. Might be an option. Your car looks good, too, by the way. I've always hated white, but something about a white RX8 turns my crank (in a non-ghey way, of course, not that there's anything wrong with that, etc etc).

keep in mind red overlay are not legal because no white reverse lights.
