Do you think it would look better or worse with the rotary accent?

I would say to go ahead and cut out the existing black plastic area where you put the mesh. and mount the aluminum mesh behind it, then cut the heat sheild around the backside of the muffler, exposing the muffler canisters from the back of the car. trust me it looks really good. Thats what I did. On the front and rear bumper cover. I got rid of the plastic grills.

I was curious about this too. Is it hard to do? I have the GReddy Sp2 and I think that'll be sick.

I like it. How did you attach the mesh?

Do you think it would look better or worse with the rotary accent?
IMO it would be definitely better with the accent.

It wasn't hard to attach it. There is already a hole on each side. I had to drill another hole on either side of the car. (two holes per side) Then I slipped a wire tie from the back around the mesh and back out the back side where I spliced it together. It pretty easy to do.

That looks awesome, I was thinking of doing that too, but never got around to it. I think I might just have to do it! The rotary accent sets it off very nicely. And...you need a new plate, I had a "5KRF..." plate haha, what can "KRF" stand for?! nothing! nice job though on the mesh

Rotary Rasp, I see your RX-8 badge in your avatar but not on your car...Why did you remove it?
I was thinkin of doin the opposite, removing the Mazda and logo badges and leaving the RX-8 badge.

You can't remove the Mazda emblem because it has holes in the trunk to hold it on. The RX-8 emblem is the only one on the entire car that uses only doubled sided tape. You can however move the RX-8 badge to the drivers side of the car and cover up the holes from the Mazda badge. ....and I removed it because I could.:D
