i picked up this re-amemiya replica front splitter w/ canards a couple months ago waiting till after winter to install. also waiting till i find sides and a rear that i like. not a huge fan of the maching sides and rear. i was thinking (but not sure) of doing the standard apearance package sides with a carbon fiber overlay, but ive got no idea for the rear. please help, i trust this community's anti rice oppinion to help point me in the right direction.

As far as anti-rice, your only options are mazdaspeed rear or RE-A rear.

they are almost the same.

Maybe try Feed sides with the lower half CF and the top part painted?

btw paint that red side vent black, it looks like ***.

and those are 18x8 konigs correct? slap some spacers on them, and drop your car more.

a non lowered car with a bodykit looks ugly, a lowered stock bodied car looks nice, a lowered car with a kit looks very nice.

 

yeah those are konigs. all theses things are a work in progress (drop, spacers, repaint) i do kinda like the mazdaspeed rear but wasnt sure if it would look right/ match the front. and painted and cf side could look realy nice. but the red fender vent stays.

 

it stays looking like *** if you dont paint it black.

atleast get one in CF.

 

Ditch the vents, clear corners, lower, learn to park without crossing the curb or it won't last long. Rear wing would balance the "weight" of the elaborate front end.

 

Clears and a wing are on the list too. And ive gotta pullover the curb so the back end doesnt hang out in the driveway. And clearance on it is good the front isnt actually on there its just mocked up in place so i could see it and its sitting a bit lower there than it would properly mounted. And the vents are staying red like i said i like them

 

The front looks too much for my taste, but if you like it, then its all good.

 

Yes im well aware that you only like the mazdaspeed kit, as you have voiced that opinion in most threads I've read

It looks good except the red side vent. Where did you find the replica front lip?

 

I bought it from another member on the forum (vlaze) he told me that "the reverand" knew a guy who made them. Try contacting him if your if the market for one. The price was right and fit is spot on.

Your canards are installed wrong like shinkaevo said and the vent...cringeworthy.

 

Like i said in a previous comment they arent actually installed they are just mocked up in place and that was how i could get them to stay.

And having my vent painted red to match the interior is not rice

You know block me do what you will. No i dont plan to add much in terms of performance as i dont plan to track the car so i dont have much need for added performance. They are red because i like them that way and its my car. I could care less what you think about the vents all i was asking was if anyone knew of anything that will look look good with the front/ match up. Look i get that this forum likes what they like. I knew some would flame some would help. All im looking for is oppinions on the sides and rear. Can we please lay off my vents atleast until i get a few more suggestions?

Sides with some CF and the MS rear would look nice. But honestly you'd love the look so much better if you got CF vents. If you want to match your interiors red then add a red pinstripe to your wheels or get red corners, the vent is so rice

 

I think it looks alright but i dont think the rest of the car is aggressive enough to pull it off.

You could get the rest of the RE kit here Mazda RX8

You'd also need to lower your car too, as said above cars with body kits and standard ride hight look awe full.

I'd also suggest, painting that side vent black and getting better/nice looking wheels.

Yeah lowering is absolutely the next step after i get the kit finished. Then clear or blacked out corners. I think im gonna go with the ms rear and either the feed sides or carbon fiber overlay on apearance package aero flares. Anyone know if you can get the ms rear diffuser in carbon fiber?
