Racing Beat Side Skirts with App Pkg?
I bought a mint used '04 RX-8 (AT...I could just die....but I couln't pass the deal up!) back in the summer. I'm basically going for looks since it is a AT and I'm trying to do it on a budget. Is anyone running the stock airdam and rear bumper flares with the Racing Beat side skirts? If so...any pics? I couln't find any posts on this. I like the Mazdaspeed sides with the app pkg but too much money. Also, the Racing Beat sides have the same lines as the stock side aero flare and it looks like it would line up better with the stock airdam. I am also planning to do the Racing Beat wing as well. I bought a set of OEM rear flares for $50 and the OEM airdam for $120. The Racing Beat sides are $420 and the wing is $300. That means I could put together a full body kit for under $1000! So far I bought a set of brand new staggered 19" Axis Hiros for $700, I installed a full Rockford Fosgate custom audio system for $400, tinted the windows and added the pillar appliques for $150, lowered the car with Tein S-Techs for $130, and spent around $100 on lighting upgrades. Not too bad so far I must say.

No...it is fiberglass. But the more I look at the side skirt it is almost identical to the side aero flare...only it goes the whole length. It is thicker at the front and rear and then tapers inward. I think I'm going to do it...I'll post pics in few months after I get some time to complete it. As far as the deals go....Ebay!

All-in-all, BCH3779 congrats on your purchase and post pics when your "kit" is done? I'm interested in how it'll all piece together.
