They aren't a straight forward bolt on and the fitment of both examples in this thread is pretty naff to be honest. I did this mod a few months back if you actually spend some time you can get them to fit with much less "overhang" than pictured.

Here they are on my 04.





The existing connectors can be modified to fit the 09 lights and only one connector requires re-soldering. I believe this is the first UK car with this mod

A few facts the bootlid is the same for both models the rear light housing isn't most people told me they share the same part number they don't. It can be done but be under no illusion it's not a 5 minute job.

Nice work. Your lower part of the light does not extend out. Did you did anything to that part?
