Wow, this thread is pretty much exactly one year old. I am doubtful anyone here would be willing to fork out the $$$ for the r-magic widebody. It is, indeed, beautiful though!

 

There's about 6 or 7 members with the kit, definately an exclusive club...

You guys should go back and read the thread with this car in it, he wasnt too happy that his car was still getting spanked by porsche turbos,,, He thought that a turbo would have been enough to beat the world...

 

Love my 8 but if u want to beat porsches go buy a 3 rotor and stop bitching its quick but i love the fact that its a head turner more

Gonna do a little thread revival. Cas that wide body is gorgous! I did a little research, Havnt had any luck finding it. Anybody know where you can buy this kit?

 

japanparts.com? That thing runs 5k+ though so be prepared to spend some serious cash if you really want it.

 

$5K? try double that and some, it will cost about $2k just to import the damn thing...

 

And then getting the kit fitted and painted. Looking about 9k-10k when you are all done.

 

still cheaper than this thing, these kits start at 15k I think, good thing failside doesn't make a Fortune kit for the 8 as it would probably cost more than the car

 

Geezzz...i'll keep mine stock. I'd rather invest it somewhere rather than in my car.

 

Haha ya the Veilside Fortune for the rx7 is crazy expensive, but you have to consider it is like a 16 piece kit that completly transforms the look of the 7. Its defeintly sexy!

Ya I knew it was around 5k just for the kit, and i figured another 2k for fitment and paint. Wasnt expecting 2k just to ship it tho??? DAMN. Prolly not worth it but i defiently like it! gives our car a really agressive look. Only thing im not big on is the rear, wonder if theres another bumper like the kenstyle you could manage to fit up with the rear quarters???

 

yes...with another grand at least in bodywork to modify/widen the kenstyle bumper.

theres someone who makes a pretty good replica on ebay. [i know theres a ton of useless crap there] but in this case, if you look at the prepainted kit test fitted, it looks pretty good.

Hi im new to the rx8club and the rx8 is going to be my first car but i can't seem to find the red r magic front bumper i found the hood if anyone could help it you be much appreciated. Also i have been on there site but sadly dont understand japanese
