Question about Ganador Mirrors
Ok guys I have been debating getting the ganador mirrors ( http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/p...oducts_id=2676 ) But the site says they are right hand drive only? Why is this? Is there any way around the problem? I mean is the mirror itself different? If it is, couldnt I just go to a mirror shop and have mirror replaced? Thanks for any insight.
I think what they mean by that is the wires will be shorter for the right hand mirror, instead of the left. It could be that the wires will not reach the driver side panel or something. I could be wrong.
The Mirrors are fine.. it just takes some time to get use to them. They are pretty small... and the angle is kinda wacky. But they do work. And yes you can just have the mirror replaced.
I have a pair of the mirrors. When they say "right hand drive" it means that they are made for a driver in the right seat. This means that you won't have the full range of adjustment that you are used to, especially on the driver's side mirror (you can't move the mirror "out" as far as you could on LHD mirrors, meaning that you are stuck looking at the side of the car mostly, instead of the lane next to you). And, as Outlaws said, they are pretty small. If you are someone who depends heavily on your side mirrors, instead of actually turning your head to look at things, I'd advise strongly against buying these.
hrm... im totally mirror dependant, so i guess they arent for me. too bad too, i like the way they look.
i guess i could have my windows de-tinted, but i think id rather have black as night tint than cool mirrors.
