^ IMO,it will look good if you paint the rear bumper but your 8 still hot

 

I'm in on the group buy, and might be down for that too. I have a paint guy who is reasonable but if we can get a group discount through yours, that may be the way to go.

Time...thanks for the props. -- Taxes for imports are quite high, so after dishing out US$55K for the ride and a little more for the kit the well has run dry. I'd like to lower it but most parking lots in Taiwan are under ground so have clearance issue as is. Anyone have any ideas....maybe go w/ 20" and 30 or 25 tires? Would that look better?

i actually kind of like it how it is..with regards to the rear, and the rest of the car too. a drop and rims wouldnt hurt but it looks good now

 

I'm not understanding the paint scheme on the rear (is the autobahn rear like the INGs rear, where it just replaces the exhaust shrouds?)...and the white one above is horrid with just the side aero flares.....?

 

Yeah, the white with the stock flares surely suxs but I am sure it is a work in progress...

Yes, Mike H...the Autobahn back are attached on both exhaust sides just like INGs but don't stick out as much. So I had those painted red and kept the center black.

You're right about the compression though. Hopefully it will be rectified shortly.

 

wow even though this thread is old, my god they all look amazing. im in love w/ that front bumper.......soon as i come up w/ a grand im gonna have just the front bumper put on, might look a lil wack the rest will come later, but jus gotta have that autobahn front......hubba hubba...hahahaha

 

i dont understand why so many people like this kit. all it is is just a flat front with 3 big rectangular holes punched in the front. to each their own i guess

 

this was probably the clincher for me. IZoomZoomI's old car from the before and after thread:

 

ill admit that its growing on me from certain angles but still... its nothing special IMO. its not bad... just not great like the vertex or RE. in case you havent noticed, i like sharper, more aerodymanic "looking" front ends.

 

many people like it because the general shape is that of a Ferrari.

i love the RE kit (with the fogs of course!)

 

you said it well in the previous post - to each their own. some really like the look of veilside while it's not my personal taste. i like things simple and with less protrusions. and the ferrari-like look is pretty nice too.
