Post-Collision repair
i recently got into an accident that ruined my rear suspension arms and left two nasty dents in-between the left side rear suicide door and the wheel well. I had the suspension arms fixed but I'm hesitant to take it to a shop to repair the dents because it would probably cost me a fortune. Regarding dent-removal products etc. which can you guys recommend? I dont mind if it takes some of my paint off because i can order touch up paint from mazda since i still have factory paint on the car. I just got this car and i have a couple of other questions that dont have to be answered in this thread but could be helpful. Sometimes a light comes on in my dash that looks like a passenger with a seat belt on and a circle in front of him (guessing it has something to do with an airbag) I never got an owners manual so im not sure what everything is yet. And i'm interested in changing my headlights from the normal ones to xenon's, how should i go about doing that??

Honeslty i had almost the same thing happend to me. they charged my insurance almost $7000 for fixing two contol arms and a dented fender and headlight. When they could have cut me a check out for the repair and i could have did it myslef. And could of had coilover and all. Needless to say next time im working on my own car.

yup my control arms were shattered and instead of going to my insurance company (im 19 so it would have cost me an arm and a leg after that accident just to pay the monthly premiums) i just took it to a shop and it cost me about 950 without any body work, basically just parts and labor.
