painting rims question

heyy i want to get my stock rims painted black. I want to get them powdercoated. I was wondering if anyone had gotten this done cause i wanted to know how much this should cost. And if you have any pictures too if would be appreciated to see how it came out esspecially if you have a black rx.

Thanksss

I had them done black a few years ago and they still look fine. Cost me $275 for all four. But pricing is a local thing and if the rims need to be sand blasted it can cost a little more.

For that price I'd buy my own kit!

Your less than 25 miles from the company that did mine. You have extra rims?? I was able to leave un-mounted rims there and have them take their time. PM me your real email address. I might be able to help you out.

yeaa my friend did his but eventually i'm sure it will start to dull out or something and i don't want to have to worry about that. So i just want it to get done professionally.

never turn out all that great imho. just spray it. if you dont like it you can always take it off with heavy solvent.

Hey, if you got it done, put some pictures up, I'm debating on gloss black aftermarket wheels, or getting my stock ones painted. Expo, that is wicked!

Curb rash?? Man don't take corners too sharp!!! Nah, I'd say call around some wheel shops and they might help you. At the least give you numbers or advice on what to do.
