Hey Everyone,

I have been considering painting the front lip as well as the stock L-shaped side skirts black - The car is LY. I have so many people who have suggested it to me, and it never really came into mind until then.

What are your opinions on it? Either way, they have to be painted because of paint damage on them

 

I don't think that would look too bad (as long as you don't over-do it)
I think I've even seen it done before... Can't be sure though lol

 

^ Damn that was a fast response. And its sort of hard to "overdue" black - I would just make it gloss black basically

 

It will look incomplete like most ricers with their unpainted black skirts and lips.

 

If you have enough accents, it looks ok.
One thing I hate is when people paint an entire section of car (ie front fenders) and nothing else. Looks garbage to me.
A few accents could add character

 

Im definitely not going for the ricer look, doesn't appeal to me. Just something different
