Opinions please.....

What do u guys think of the ABF full kit by AIT Racing? Does anyone else offer it under another name? I did a search and didnt find anything on it.
Anyone know of any issues with fitment or anything else I should know about this kit? I know theres usually some work involved in fitting, unless its the MS, but Im not looking to have to refab the whole kit to get it to look right. Thanks.

It's a knock-off of the Abflug kit. You'll have plenty of people tell you that knock-off kits are crap and will require just as much money in the long run as just buying the original kit. Here's a link to the original at japanparts.com:

http://www.japanparts.com/db/partsli...ker=12&volkey=

Honestly, I think it's the ugliest kit for the 8, but that's just my opinion.

That site ripped off the majority of the kits available for our car!

Anyone notice at the bottom of the page they used NGO's car?? I sent him a PM about this a while ago so he is aware.

Well, since you asked. I think the lines of that kit just don't go with the car at all. The side skirt is just odd, I don't know who the hell designed that and thought it looked good. If you want an agressive kit, why not check out Vertex Lang. You can also find it on japanparts.com. It's less expensive and follows the lines of the car much better. Great looking kit. Compare (Vertex pic coutesy of forum member MSZ-B):

BTW, the title of the thread is "opinions please..." Just giving you what you asked for

The AbFlug it too over the top. The lines do not flow with the 8. IMO if you buy it, you will regret it.

apparently Ngo knows about it but it's probably not worth his time / $$$ to threaten legal action to have them take it down.

Texak: HELL ya you could! Our 8's put down sooooo much torque that the added downforce will help with wheel hop off the line.

my opinion is the ABF knockoff is a very cheap knockoff from AIT of one of the ugliest kits ever produced,

Ive seen a thread or two on here talking about AIT and fitment and the results are mostly negative however a few people had said that they had good fitment from their Mint knockoff kit (which is under 500 dollars shipped for all four pieces)
