I really need help!!!
ok...here is my story...
I ordered veilside gt d1 kits from mvpmotorsports.com
However They didn't have them in stock.
They said it's not in usa, and it will come in around the beginning of october
I checked with other dealers(intensepower.com and others..) too,
and I found out that it won't be here by late october..
so I canceled and I hardly found another dealer who had the kits in his stock!
I ordered the kits from redlineautosalon.com.
and It has arrived today.
However!!!
body shop said it's in a bad shape and it will be a tough job!
Every store I visited said they won't have this bodykits in USA by late october..
but only this store(redlineautosalon.com) had them in stock.
How do you guys think?
What I'm worrying about is how I can distinguish a genuine product from replicas??
and
How can I know if the body shop just wants more money or not?
Thank you for taking your time to read this.
I will really appreciate your replies.

Veilside is high quality stuff, if its in bad shape and not from shipping the company probably sold you a knock off. You should have just ordered it with a reputable company (haven't heard anything abotu redlineautosalon before so I don't know if they have a good or bad reputation) and waited for it. Find out what material the veilside kit is made out of then have the body shops opinions about what the kit you have is made of and the quality of the work. If its not a real veilside kit and you paid for a real veilside kit call up the company and return it and order it with another company. If they give you problems (restocking fee etc.) call up the better business bureau or something.
If you think the body shop might be scamming you, check with other RX8 drivers around your area if any know of a reputable shop you can trust and get a second opinion.

I'm sorry about my poor English.
and Thanks for the response.
I have another question...
Do genuine veilside body kits have pre-drilled holes?
I heard that replicas don't have pre drilled holes...

Ah? If the feedback you getting from professional body shops is all negative concerning this kit. It's a no brainer. Return it and exercise some patience. Wait until the real deal arrives and pony up the extra cash. Don't live with something you're not happy with.

They can be that expensive if they are trying to scam you in some way. Which it sounds like they might be.
Are you able to return the product? It sounds like that might be a good place to start.

It could be real it could be fake, post pics, I recieved mine back in May straight from Veilside, they are currently backorderd and the next shipment isn't due till later this month, but some left overs are floating around. Yes Veilside pre-drills this caused the first delays in May when the arrived in the US w/o the holes. But the kit has been released so it could swing either way. The price is close to what I paid but not close to the new prices since the demand for this kit has sky rocketed!

ok, I saw the kits and it was in real bad shape!!!
here is the list...
1. no predrilled holes
2. parts do not fit without major work
3. surfaces have many imperfections(holes, scratchs, cracks)
4. brackets need to be fabricated to install properly
5. no hardware or instructions included
est: $800~1200 : install + smooth out
$650: paint
there are veilside labels on body kits...however qualities are so poor...
are they replicas?
isn't it illegal to have veilside labels on?

I never said it was authentic Veilside. I apologize for the
misunderstanding.
Holes are not predrilled because many people find it easier to drill
their own holes for a better fitment. 800-1200 for an install and prep work
is normal. 650+ is a normal amount for a decent paint job on a body kit. You
should have been aware of these costs before ordering.
Please view our terms and conditions page.
http://www.redlineautosalon.com/body-kits-terms.htm
Please make sure the shop you are having install the kit has an
extensive body kit installation background before you let them work on your
kit.
Have a nice day,
////////////////////////////
plz help me guys
how can I react to him?
oh yea one more thing..
his fake veilside products have veilside labels on..isn't it illegal?
