OEM license plate
just put on the mazda license plate frame...im pretty sure i did this right as its not rocket science...it came with adhesive foam which i assume goes on the bottom of the plate to prevent scratches during chatter at high speeeds...but i screwed it up of course...i scratched the back a little bit because the edges are sort of rrough....theres some play up and down because of the holes for the bolts...so i was trying to find the right height up and down...and in doing this i put little scratches in there...but its hidden by the license plate...but all is well..just wanted to warn everyone not to be a dumb @$$ like myself...
cheers

i did the same thing w/ my rear plate. i think mazda is partially to blame for not putting a basic license plate mount on the a rear bumper to elevate & secure the license plate (and frame) off the bumper to prevent scratches. <shrugs> if u look at the bmw 3-series, their rear plate mount is just the right height off the trunk, and the plate is secure and safe, and it looks good too.

I remember how long I spent putting the plate holder on when I was doing it.
Kept thinking to myself why is this such a chore?
Specially the front plate for the Mazdaspeed bumper... Didn't want to mess that up. (also didn't want to put it on)
Thanks for the heads up Shinka Gamecock ( can you explain your screenname? )
