I have been pulled over for 80 in a 55 with a slap on the wrist, and never got a ticket in the fastest car that I have ever owned.

Will I lose this teflon ticket status if I repaint my silver car Black and add a bodykit and spoiler?

 

umm, no. you'll get more tickets cuz cops will look at you more. you don't want tickets? don't violate traffic laws and keep car stock.

yeah right. tell that to my friend who bought an EVO and got a fix-it ticket for loud exhaust note. The EVO was brand new and he was still in his break in period. Like only 150+ miles into it!!! Got to love VA.

I am a former cop. (Was VERY laid back and only wrote tickets to people who made an effort to get one.) Since I have had my RX8, I have been pulled over 3 times and did not do a thing wrong. Once for running a stop sighn at 55 mph. He insisted that I ran it at a high rate of speed even though I was behind him at the stop sign. I got stopped two other times because they said that I "took the turn mighty fast". When I asked them was I speeding or doing anything wrong, they both replied, "well, no....but...." Can I go or am I getting a ticket. "Have a nice day, try to slow down." I thought you just said that I was not speeding. I knew I should have gotten black instead of the red.

 

dude you ran a stop sign at 55 mph??
