New kit for Rx8
Just wanted to let everyone know that is in the market for a body kit. There is a new kit that is coming out very soon (around mid to late January) and you can see it in person at the upcoming JGTC/ D1 event on the 18th and 19th. It is a full urethane kit and will consist of a full front bumper replacement and sideskirts. If it sells well, then the company will probably look into doing a rear piece as well but for now there is no rear. Check out the link on my signature to see a little sneak peak of the prototype front bumper during production.

you're right, from what we can see, it looks similar. I like auto-bahns kit - very clean, doesn't go too far... but they are only sold in japan and are made out of fiberglass.
hopefully the price is decent and can work with fog lights.

the more i look into it, it doesn't look like its a replica of the autobahn kit. Well hopefully it isn't that is... they're suppose to be "innovative concept and design". The lip looks good from what i can tell.

in response to some of the posts. The only similarity to the autobahn kit is that there is soft line near the top of the bumper opposed to the Autobahns hard line. Those who attend the JGTC show in the LA area this coming Dec 18th and 19th can see the kit in person and have more questions answered. Once you see the whole kit you will see that it does not look anything like the autobahn kit except for that soft line. We kept it clean and aggressive looking.
If there are any more questions please keep posting them.

If the kit looks good and is easier to get than the autobahn kit (and of course the price is right), you might convert a few of us. Autobahn's kit is simple, stylish and if you can afford their rear bumper/exhaust, really impressive. (The rear bumper costs 800 and the special exhaust for it costs 1200 or 2000 for titanium).
As far as fiberglass cracking/chipping easily, eurethane tends to flex too much and be too heavy.. It can sag because of it. Good quality eurethane and fiberglass tend to eliminate these problems and I'm about 99% sure that the autobahn kit is top quality fiberglass.

I can tell you a lot of design and thought went into this kit as far as being on a vehicle that is used on the street every day. You have to think about people driving over speed bumps, up driveways, and we have added ramp angles to the front so that it will be less likely to scratch up your bumper going up driveways. The side vents are fitted to the oil coolers and pretty much everything has been looked at to make this bumper effective while driving rather than just building a kit based on looks rather than function. This kit will be both functional and have the looks behind it.

Very interesting. I have been looking for a kit for a while now but if it's anything like the pictures above, then you got me sold.
All I need now is a price range.

Wow, How on earth did you happen to hack into our system and find that photo. We were supposed to show it off on the 18 and 19th but we might as well just not waste our time now.
