The emblems are bigger and bigger on every new car for year by year, what I don't like. Maybe our cars body is a marketing place for the factories (in my opinion). I don't like my RX's big chrome emblems too, so I decided to make new ones.
The sorry thing is that there are three holes under the MAZDA "word" on the trunk, so I had to make two new emblems to cover those.

thats what i thought... ive only really seen it in those youtube videos... "top gear" etc... everyones always talking about the euro lip spoiler, but i like urs alot more... did yours come with your car?... do they sell them anwhere... your emblems look cool... def a good idea to eliminate some of that crome

Looks good. You did a great job with the rotor emblem. I'd like to debadge the rear of my car but I'm too scared that the body shop will suck at matching the pearl. Oh well. Good lookin car!

They cost way too much if you were to order one from a dealer in europe.. your best bet is to get one from a UK member or "other" when they upgrade to a different rear spoiler...

 

has anyone had success with that M3 spoiler.... its supposed to fit on the 8, but when i search on ebay, only pictures of the 3 series and TL pop up... cause the thing looks almost identicle to this "original euro lip spoiler"??? and isnt at all expensive

 

looks good just a little strange to me. i actually like emblems as long as it is nice and clean

 

I'm in Europe, so my car came with that lip. A heard that the cw is 0.31 without it, and 0.30 with it. Unbeliavable that this little lip cause that different.

Yes, but i didn't think about it until now. I hope I can get more pieces inner rotary emblem with the mazda rx-8 label. The other problem is that I'm in the middle of europe.

Yes. I wanted something different from the other RX-8's. (..and that little carbon piece reminds me of the coolest, handmade sportcars.)
