my left tailpipe was melting my bumper and i just had it bent back and need to replace the little plastic piece that was getting melted. i found it at RX8Strakes.com but they are out of stock. does anybody know of another website that I can find this at?

How come it's melting it? Any pictures of it? Just curious.

 

I managed to melt mine a little with new exhaust mounted, went to wash the car after install and the degreasing + fumes ignited :O so much flames, was lucky though and managed to put the fire out with som clothes..

mine didn't melt but some of the tabs broke off when i took them off to install my exhaust

 

Are you talking about the black skirt around the bumper bottom?

I'm glad this is replaceable... Mine is faded badly.

 

get meguiars back to black.. mine was faded bad too and this stuff worked wonders!!!
