My light situation

So theres nothing that boggles my mind more than lights. All the different types, wattages, brightnesses, it really a major headache for me.. Please show a little sympathy im trying here to learn here...

I know the exact look I want;

super white LED/LEDS? for the Licence plate = (part number: 194_HP2_W) http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/C...81133-1-2.html

super white LED's in the clear corners = (part number: 194_4_HPF_W) http://www.v-leds.com/Shop/Control/P...id/0/SFV/32481

6000K fog lights = (part number: H11_68_W) http://www.v-leds.com/Shop/Control/P...id/0/SFV/32481

6000k headlights = NO CLUE *HELP*

6000k running lights = (part number: 194_4_HP_W) http://www.v-leds.com/Shop/Control/P...id/0/SFV/32481

**IM NOW LOOKING TO CONFIRM BOTH THE RUNNING LIGHTS AND LICENCE PLATE LEDS I HAVE SELECTED ARE SUITABLE**

ALSO I NEED HELP FINDING HEADLIGHT BULBS TO MATCH, OR WILL STOCKS NATURALLY" :S :S

A clean all around look, unfortunately, I have no idea what bulbs specifically for my model, and if a conversion kit is needed or not?

My 8 is an 06 US spec with the shinka package.

Thanks, rx8club

You can also use the same 194 bulb that I use for the parking light for the plate. That's what I'm using.

Thanks Aipex8,

Your thread actually is what made me finally make my post after so much useless searching.

I just have this fear in the back of my head because im not familiar enough with lights that I will install or order a completely wrong bulb for my model and *%$# something up.

Are there any resistors or conversion kits that are needed for any of the lights listed in your Sig?

ALSO.. will the stock HID's not match the new lights? if so what did you use to get that perfect match? and from who?

I have the white LED license plate light from rx8strakes, as well as the white corner LEDs from there.

I hear ya, it's pretty straight forward though. Most of the small bulbs that you are replacing are 194 size. I got a message from VLEDs and with their newer bulbs you shouldn't need any resistors. They should be safe anywhere from 9V to 24V, so voltage spikes shouldn't effect them.

Order two sets of these (two for the parking lights, one for the license plate and you can use the extra for your trunk light):
http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/D...-p5768269.html

Order one set of these for the side markers:
http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/D...-p5768086.html

If you want the headlights to match better get these:
http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-HID/V...56987-1-2.html

For the fogs you can do LED like mine or conver to HID (which I may be doing with the discount):
http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/D...10634-1-2.html
or
http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-HID/H...82952-1-2.html

I think that covers it.
