mspeed wing

So I've decided I want the mazdaspeed wing... but I've also decided I can't afford it so I'm looking at the replicas. I found this one: http://www.extremedimensions.com/5629.html The only thing that worries me is that its fiberglass. But if its the spoiler should I really be worried? is this one of those times I shouldn't cheap out? Also how much does it cost to get painted at an average shop?

just remember what they say is true, you get what you pay for. While I'd love an MS wing and MS front, i dont have 2Gs+ to spend on it, so I'm just going to be patient.

That might be a great product for the money, but its a 300 dollar gamble, would you rather just wait 3X longer and get the real deal? Most of my expereince with that saying of you get what you pay for is 100% true with computer parts... you buy cheap, you get cheap simple as that.

I would suggest just being patient and saving up more

oh yes, by the time you add in paint and all that jazz, its even more incentive to just wait. Figure 200 for the paint job? (total guess on my part) when you can just buy the offical one that comes paint matched and done already

I agree completely with everything you say... However it's a spoiler if it looks the same I think that's about all there is too it... I don't drive nearly hard enough to get any functionality out of it, and I doubt it will break although I've heard bad things about fiberglass and that's why im here mostly to ask if anyone else has bought that spoiler and what they thought about it. And knowing myself by the time i saved to grand I'd be putting it towards that new protech performance kit haha

well, i have/had this spoiler on. i had problems with it because i had the one with fiberglass brackets. you be fine since they're metal now. though fitment on the trunk was slightly off, it wasn't noticeable.
