MS front bumper only
Hey all quick question, I got into a fenderbender and have the chance to get a MS front bumper but only a front bumper. Do you think it will look funny with just the front bumper? Im looking at the Extreme dimensions M1 MS

Yeah, but you're going to spend nearly that amount for labor and paint. Also, the fitment will still be off to a certain degree due to the corners being so hard to cooperate.

Well, there's a reason why people say this. I know you haven't been on this forum for too long, but there are countless numbers of threads with pictures of off-fitments. Also, people who have experienced replicas will tell you to go with the real deal. Sideskirts are the same deal. Some people don't mind the sideskirts being off a little.

I mean I see why people dont want the authentic MS, because ****, it IS alot of money up front.
But for the average knock off front you have: $250 bumper; 250 paint, and usually a couple hundred in bodywork/shop time. So in the end you have a fake front bumper that you saved $200 on and waited way longer to put it on than you could have. Then theres the sagging, rock chipping/spidering from poor aftermarket paint jobs, mismatched coloring, and the list goes on and on. Save yourself the headache and SAVE YOUR $$$ for AUTHENTIC

get authentic. You'll regret it if you don't. But in regards to the topic, i use to have only MS front on my old 8. It looked way awkward. I ended up getting side skirts within 2 weeks.

Okay so just thought Id let everyone know the outcome. It looks f_ing amazing! And yes if you don't have an amazing body shop to install the bumper and go through the labor then don't get an aftermarket bumper cause he did show me all the hell he went through. Ill post pictures when I get a chance.

i like the stock look, but i just want to replace that ugly plastic black part on the front lip.
do i HAVE to buy the whole bumper to get this done?
can i buy the seibon carbon fiber lip and just replace it?

Didn't want to start a new thread about this, so I figured I'd post it here.
I'm thinking about sometime in the future picking up a VIS Magnum front bumper.
From what I read the main argument with replicas is the cost of fitment. Now I'm in a unique position where I can get all labor involved with fitment and paint free. (My dad does body work professionally)
Is there any other significant drawbacks, since I'd be looking at saving something more like $700 than $200?
