Mazdaspeed or Mint Blue

OK sorry, had to move this thread here.

I am having trouble deciding between the Mazdaspeed body kit (excluding spoiler) or the Mint Blue body kit.

I like the mazdaspeed because it really flows well with the car but since I would be getting authentic if anything it is really expensive(3k minus spoiler). Mint Blue is really good too because it is a LOT cheaper(1500 plus paint and install) from lazi. However, I find the side skirts way too agressive so I considered having the mb front, rear, and spoiler plus mazdaspeed sides but I have no idea how this would look.

Could you guys give me some opinions on what would look better on a silver 8?

I was thinking the same. I have the MS sides and MS wing and I was thinking of just getting the MB front from Lazi. In my opinon, if I had the money I would buy the whole MS body kit because it looks cleaner (flows better) in my opinon. The Mint Blue is just a tad more aggresive compared to Mazdaspeed, but don't get me wrong I still think the MB is a beautiful kit compared to others that I have seen on this board.

If you do get the mint blue front please let me know how it complements the side skirts

FYI the pieces from Lazi are not genuine MB theyre replicas (one of the best quality replicas i've seen ever btw) ... so if you're comparing genuine MS to replica MB... of course theres gonna be a huge $$ difference....

mint blue without the rear bumper and the mint blue spoiler. Mazdaspeed is the safest way to go though, but if you're trying to shake things up a bit both will do it's job, but I think the MS kit would be more practical hower I like the looks of the MB front a bit more.

would the mb front even line up with the ms side skirts well? well if it does then i think it would look nice if u got that combo with the ms rear, but remember to paint the grey lining on the sideskirts the same color as the rest of the body so it blends better

^^^ I think the MB front would be a little more leveled with the MS sides as opposed to the stock bumper with the lip.

actually, MB front + MS sides and rear with either MS or MB spoiler would be pretty sweet.

^^ Haha lazi.

Thanks for all the replies so far guys. Seems like most people prefer the mazdaspeed body with mb wing. A lot of you said that the rear on mint blue is too agressive but I really like it. Sorry BRGREEN8, I think veilside is ruled out, wayyyy too agressive for me.

mikeb- What makes you say you wish you had the mint blue front? From the pictures I have seen they look very similar. I need to check out some of your pictures to see what that looks like. Also, I think there was another member on here who had the same setup as mikeb. Was it bigolunch?? I know he had some thread on him taking his 8 to hawaii and a thread on his mb wing.

So I have pretty much ruled out the mb sides as well. I am worrying though that if I get the mb front and rear with mazdaspeed sides it won't flow as well. OH, and whatever front bumper/rear bumper I get, they will be the same most likley(mb, ms)

Again, Thanks.

OK guys, I have pretty much decided to go with ms front and side and I really wanna go with the mint blue rear bumper and spoiler. Anyone have any good pictures of this on a silver 8? I always see pictures of full mint blue or full mazdaspeed but not mazdaspeed with mint blue rear.

Thanks for all the help guys.
