Talking mazdaspeed kit lips

As everyone knows, the mazdaspeed kit has a dark grey trimming at the bottom of each piece. I know that Mazda has not released the paint code for this trim but I have a few scrapes and I was hoping someone could tell me what the closest match they have found is. I was thinking of using the titanium grey color touch up paint but I dunno... any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I have the MS side skirts on my Titanium '8, and the grey of the lower edge is only slightly darker than the titanium color of the car. It's so close that I have to catch it in just the right light to tell that the lower edge is darker, and even then it's not for sure. If I didn't know it was a different color, I'd probably never notice it. In fact, I'm still not convinced that it even is a different color... that's how close it it.

Hope this helps.

I think in most cars, the paint code is on the inside of the doors if I'm not mistaken. Maybe look there to see if you can get the code.

Lets remember (at least in the US) that the MazdaSpeed body kit that he is refering to does not come factory/port installed. So when his Firewall, doorjam, etc. were printed with the paint code it was only for the main color of the car. The MS bodykit has a darker Tit Grey along the bottom of it, and that is the color HtownRX8 is refering to.

And I have the MS bodykit and I don't have any light to shed on your question. Sorry.

Yeah the paint code for the lips of the mazdaspeed kit is not mighty easy to find. I know where the original color for the car is, but like I said Mazda is not releasing the paint code for the lips. I am going to try to use the Titanium touch up paint from the dealer, ill let you guys know how it turns out.
