MazdaSpeed Front Bumper Lip/Wing/Canards Q?

Hello, Long-Time Lurker, First-Time Poster.

I'm a fellow Mazda owner (2003 MTX Mazda6s) and am going to be buying an RX-8 come about the model year change-out. I'm just gonna give a chance for the '06s to come out to see if there's any changes in store (namely a stronger 6-speed). I'm extremely active on the Mazda6Club Forums, part-owner of one of the largest independent (and cheapest) developers and resellers of aftermarket modifications for the Mazda6 (http://www.revolutionsix.com) and hope to be as active in this community as well. For the heck of it, a couple pictures of my car I included below as well, just to show I'm not some newbie just asking stupid questions to waste your time. If I'm asking it, you can be sure I've tried in vain for a long time to search for it on my own.

I've already got a list of planned mods that will probably take me 2-3 years to complete and cost about as much as the car itself does, so I'm definitely set in that regards, but there's just one thing that I want and have been unable to find...

On the original MazdaSpeed images, the MazdaSpeed front bumper had what I would call a "Front Lip Spoiler". Perhaps they're "Wings" or "Canards", I dunno. But I've posted 2 images below that show what I'm talking about.

The new MazdaSpeed bumpers don't see to have this, although (and this could very well be my imagination) the genuine MazdaSpeed kits do appear to have a more pronounced lip than the Knock-Offs do, but not nearly the same as the below pictures.

Does anyone make these that you can apply to the MazdaSpeed bumper? And, if so, could I get linkage please?

And a couple images of my own car, a loaded 2003 MTX Mazda6s:

Custom Leather (a total PIA to install, lemme tell ya, and rear door not yet done in photo)

the MS front does not come with the 'front underspoiler' 'canards' whatever

many have purchased CF versions though

hey when you get your 8 will your company manufactor 8 parts? if so becoming a vendor would be a great idea...or atleast sell your product through a vendor here

Would you happen to know who makes these CF versions of underspoilers? I don't care what they're made of. I'll probably paint them anyhow. Although I'd love to find an economical way to get CF where the MazdaSpeed has the Gunmetal alone the buttom (I plan on having a Pearl White RX-8, and the Gunmetal two-tone won't match IMO, and Black is just too Plain -- CF would be PERFECT). But I don't want to start with an ALL CF kit, just to paint over the top 98% of it just so I can get CF along the bottom.

In regards to RPM, the Mazda6 suffered, and still does to a lesser extent, from a pretty bad aftermarket. And what stuff was available was too expensive for most of the market to actually purchase. So we tried to fill that gap with either cheaper alternative products that we could make (like a $30 short-shifter bracket that bolts onto the stock rod and does exactly the same thing as a $300 shortshifter that replaces the entire rod and is a simple install that anyone can do in 10 minutes), or we forged strong business relations with aftermarket suppliers to get stuff made and get it offered at cheap prices that the market was far more likely to bear. We were just 3 guys who have outside full-time jobs and just wanted to get stuff offered to the community that we might not otherwise get (or not for a while) and offered them virtually at cost. The profit on what we sell is negligible at best. Basically, if we wanted something and it wasn't available or was too expensive, we either made it ourselves, got someone to make it for a lower price, or negotiated with the current seller to bring the price down in exchange for a guaranteed XX sales. So, if you were to look at our product line, it has grown as what we 3 "owners" wanted or needed (in the case of clutches/flywheels we now offer).

The RX-8 doesn't suffer from that problem. At least not as badly. We can't even get 1 Turbo manufacturer for the Mazda6 and the RX-8 has, what, a dozen (?) forced induction options either available or soon will be? And we face the same ECU problems , but instead of having a bunch of companies trying to solve them, we've got one company doing a half-way effort to overcome it. And that's just one example. Gauge pods (center-mount, like PTP's is for the RX-8) -- JapanParts.com had one for $1000 --- I went out, pulled some strings, and had Lotek custom-make us one for $40 each. It took a while, but we got it done.

Perhaps if I see an opportunity for a niche market that needs to be fulfilled and we can either create a product to fill it (not likely) or have the connections to get it filled, and filled at a cheap cost, we'll look into it. But right now the market looks pretty well covered. If there's one thing about the RX-8 market is that it's aftermarket market is hungry for items and willing to pay a pretty penny for them and companies realize this and have stepped up to produce relatively low-volume (in the grand scheme of things) items.

well I know that www.mazdaparts.com 's owner Thew (is his forum name btw rx8garage.net is the prior web domain) has sold a set before to a customer who bought the full MS kit. Thew hasn't skued up the set yet but if you ask him I'm sure he will so you'll get an idea of the price.

Cool. Thanks for the info. It's greatly appreciated. I'm just lining up info on where to buy these things so they're bought, here, and ready to be taken to the bodyshop the day I buy the car.
