Mazda really needs to bring these cars to the States. The MazdaSpeed RX-7 is HOT. It totally says, 'I'm fast and I'm willing to use it.' But without the crap that one would see on one of those 'show cars'.
The Miata coupes look great too. Very much like a baby Jag XK8 or even an Aston Martin. I think that if the Miata coupe makes it outside of Japan, it will create a whole new life for Miataphiles all over the world. Not that the interest in the Miata has waned much in it's 14 year history, but with such a beautiful car and a bedrock solid history of reliability, performance, and balance, how could the public resist?
With the MS RX-8, it's success will greatly be determined by it's power rating and weight. Not that either are currently lacking, but MazdaSpeed has to stand for serious, uncompromising focus towards performance and driving excitement.
A successful factory supported effort in ALMS and the Japanese Touring Cars will help that focus tremendously.

What about?
Maybe I'm just an idiot, but are the RS Coupe A-Type/E-Type the same as the Miatas? If they are, I hope/pray/beg/plead that Mazda will bring them to the States. I agree with the 'Jag/AstonM' comparisons. The cars are freakin' beautiful!
If not an '-8' then maybe I'll work my way up to one of these bad boys...
