Mazdaspeed ??
Hi guys... 
A few weeks ago I had an accident, that pretty much damaged the front of my 8
. So the insurance company covered the repair however I was thinking of changing the front bumper from the standard rx8 bumper to a mazdaspeed bumper (i was gona do the side and the rear my self 
). After talking to the insurance company and repair shop (dealership), they agreed that they will pay 680 for the front bumper and it must be installed by the shop 
. I went to the dealership parts department and the guy didn’t know what it was, so after explaining what the MS was and what it looks like. The guy looked on mazdausa.com and quoted me 1,580 
for the front ONLY.
My question is, where can I get the mazdaspeed front bumper for less than 1,580 or where can i order it ??. which I think Its little too high and I didn’t trust the guy who looked it up since he didn’t know what it was or even where to get it (he google it
).

there are several vendors on this site that sell the ms kit for less than that...but as far as I can remember it still is over 3k for the whole kit.
Grant it it does already come painted and the body shop should put it on for about 20 bucks because it will only take 20 minutes to put on

I went with a replica set. There are several sites that sell the MS Replica set for around 1K, but beware of possible fitment issues etc. Alot of people on here down and dis replica sets, but to each their own. Mine's being painted and installed this week

First off, thankz for the replay...
Well the main reason why I didn’t go with the replica is bc the Original MS comes painted, fitment is perfect, and it looks original. The shop will not charge me to install the MS bumper, however they will charge more if they installed the replica and paint. The only problem is I really don’t like to pay more than 500 out of pocket... I did look at the other vendor sites and the best one I can find is for 1,350 here
