mazda speed wing brackets

i was wondering if anyone knows some were i can purchase a set of replacement brackets for my mazda speed wing unfortunatly i guess the bass in my car has caused the brackets to crack now i need to find somewhere to buy a replacement set and the vendor from which i originally purchased the wing from does not sell the actual brackets i need , which are the 2 silver brackets that connect the actual wing to the base if any one has any suggestions on where i can purchase them please let me know

How about finding a machine shop that can fabricate you a new set?

defect in the metal is my guess. Or its a knock off wing with plastic brackets.

i wish i could say it was a replica because maybe then i wouldnt be as upset..... lol but the problem is that my passenger side bracket keeps getting loose because aparently the threads are worn down i guess due to continous tightening of the boltsdue and constant vibration and rattleing due to the bass where my passenger side bracket cracked along were the bolts go threw so thats why i figured i would just try to replace them with a new set.... yes they are a metal compound that is why i am amazed they cracked as well....

Wow, this is quite disturbing news.

I just installed the MS wing yesterday and was planning on installing two 4080 boxes.

Have you tried calling Mazda about it? If they dealer installed it for you, it should be covered under warranty, no?

the problem is its a oem Mazda Speed Wing But i didnt purchase it through the dealer i purchased it from a authorized MS retailer in miami and they dont sell just the brackets they sell the whole setup.... and because i had it installed when my body kit was installed being that it wasnt done at mazda they wont warranty the brackets cause they didnt install it so theyre saying that i may have stressed the brackets in the install process... which is total bull.....

the part comes with a mazda warrenty, id talk to the dealer, also if its just the bolts, you can go to a good hardware store, or a place like House of Threds here in orlando and find a nut/bolt combo that works for you and looks stock.

Also if its just the bolts on the bracket and there is still enough thred left to screw it together, get some LOCK-TITE blue, if you want to be able to un-screw it again, or LOCK-TITE read if you want it to be together FOREVER! just make sure you wipe up any drips.

If the braket itself it cracked, a good metal shop could weld it together and then polish it, it would look good as long as your a few feet away, then if you not happy you could get it powder coated body color, or light silver or black or wahtever you want.

Thats my $.02

i know feed makes extensions so the wing can be mounted higher, unfortunetly these attach to the stock brackets, but i bet you can find an after market company that makes totaly new ones.

One of my height adjustment bolts came loose and was lost, had to buy replacement one at home depot. A friend of mine had the bolts underneath the wing missing shortly after he had his mazdaspeed wing put on. Now my mazdaspeed side skirt is missing a freaking screw on the front so it was slightly loose. I bought the screw from home depot that was as close as possible to the mazda one, but it wont stay in tight. Why cant mazda make availble the bolts/screws for this kits since obviously several people are having problems with them >(
