my roof is matte black, its actually really easy to keep clean. soap and water then dry.

flat gray like its gray and its flat ???? like ill describe there is this stuff its called paint u put it on cars i liked gray but i wanted it flat so what u do is u by a special flattener that u add to the paint which is a one to one ratio and then you put it on your car understand now?

 

Yeah we understand..But its like primer and looks like crap, especially with stock wheels...

 

yo understand sory im 17 and no twice as much about cars and doing work on them as you installed everything and rebuilt the in tire car my self and painted it to also if you new anything about primer its darker then that and your talking about stock rims they still look better then yours dude you find them in the dump or something or steal them from some Honda you saw on the side of the road ? and i have put twice as much time into my car as u have put into your rx8 and no that thing like the back of my hand so go pay some dude to fix your car bro!

id just go with a different kit like the MS or something.

 

i think matte colors look good on a agressive looking car only you can't put it on anything and have it look good

Not a fan of the color, but it takes guts for a car to come out of the closet. Props to you for supporting your car in its life choice!

 

it rely dose look good in real life its just the pics i took makes the color look a lot brighter then it actually is and i still need to wet sand and buff it and it will look a lot better still a work in progress but thanks bro

matte black is a pain in the ***, if youve ever seen a matte car in real life its jsut a disappointment, you have to use a claybar on your hands just to get all the oils off them so that you can touch it, if not you get fingerprints and smudges all over yuck. if you go vinyl and you get a chip you need to replace the whole panel, you cant touch it up. the list goes on and on.

 

MIND EXPLOSION: anyone ever put the kouki turn signals from the rx7's on a rx8??? SORRY IM OFF TOPIC!
