Matrix theme

I've had this in my head for a while and I finally am getting it done. I went up to Phoenix last weekend to Cortez Vehicle Wraps and Design to finalize the design I'm going to wrap my 8 in. My car has the red and black interior, so obviously the Matrix Pattern had to be red on black. This is one of the pictures I sent them (I made this myself in photoshop) so they could get an idea of what I wanted. It was too large to upload on the site:

http://fc03.deviantart.net/fs71/f/20...5s-d4pbdph.png

And here are the proofs that I got back from their designer today:

and new rims:

Rims should be delivered tomorrow, the spoiler is on back order.

different. Time attack rims would probably look a lot better than just plain black. Aka black rims with the red line around the rim

You may be right. It's a work in progress. I'm sure it's going to look much much better in person, it's very detailed (hence the wrap). Also I nixed the spoiler, people said the one I wanted was a POS so I'll just leave it stock.

It would be nice if the mud guards get done as well.

They will. At the very least they'll be black.

imo, don't like it.

If you're gonna change the exterior, i say you should start by looking into getting more appearance parts (ie bodykit, spoiler, clear corners etc.) before doing an over the top paint job/vinyl wrap.

I can't afford spending 4+ grand on a REAL body kit and a wrap on top of that. I already wasted 700 on a replica, and since the stock bumpers are already there and look good, I decided to go with the wrap instead. I am trying to make it look nice, I canceled the spoiler I ordered for it because people said they were shitty and I think those crazy racing wings are too over the top for it.

i hate to throw this out there but have you tried Shine Autoproject?

They've made several bodykits for a lot of forum members...pretty cheap too.

No I haven't but those RX7s look amazing. Let me look into it. Right now I have some brand new rims to unwrap

Looks like they're cheap and have good fitment, I'll definitely give them a call tomorrow.

Thanks littlejob. That will be covered up, that's just the graphic artist's raw demo.

Looks less matrix, and more like a ship going into warp IMO.

Very expensive, I was quoted just over $2500 for everything, but that's partly because sports cars are more difficult to wrap than say a box truck. Also, those pictures don't do it justice.

http://fc03.deviantart.net/fs71/f/20...5s-d4pbdph.png

I created both that wallpaper and what's on the car myself with a free Photoshop trial and a you tube tutorial. The graphics artist tweaked it a little and is making it fit the car, but it's mostly all me.

Oh, and I ordered a custom plate last week that says MATRX 8.

Unless you can actually see the letters in the wrap, it will look like warp speed. The sides especially. Thats only if the artist proof looks anything like the actual wrap that you will get. If you can see the letters then you are home free.

In case some don't know wtf I am talking about, here is a picture. Might as well make that plate "entrprz". :P

I didn't wanna say it before, but he is about 12 years late to the matrix party.

Whatever floats your boat though, if the OP likes it then he likes it.

If i did.... well if i had a VR, Id buy coilovers since you have wheels already, save the rest and look for a used VR genuine mazdaspeed kit on the forums
and thats it, your all set. No fitment issues, no paint issues. Wont like riced either.

Or, get go fast goodies like a exhaust and midpipe and headers and swaybars and coilovers. cobb ap would be something nice to buy aswell.
