hey guys so i ordered the LSD Doors kit. But i was just wondering if it was bolt on easy to install or mod heavy ? anyone has them and could explain installation we got a garage with tools but not enough knowledge to start modding the panels.

you have to do some cutting of the fenders, it is a bolt on but the piston needs
room to go up and down

 

have you tried getting in and out of a car with the kit installed on it? think twice and try it before you settle on a yes or no answer.

for me it turns getting in and out of the car into a chore, having to bend, twist and even crouch a little to avoid the door which now has less clearance.

both customer cars that had them had equal clearance so i doubt it was just a certain kit.

 

I order them through my friends garage they are 2310$ and the street legal paper costs 95$ i might get 10% off...

Well i hope its easy cause i dont wanna do stuff that might make it badly made and it wont pass check up :/ hear u cannot do anything to your car.... Without paying tousands and tousands of bucks ... U can supercharge but its costs 30'000 to make it street legal

 

you only have to do a little cutting on the fenders where the piston and door stopper will go.
but i had my kit installed by a shop.

I have not been involved with the conversion, but I'm willing to bet some work will have to be done to the electrical wiring going into the door.

 

the kit comes with an extension for the wiring.
LSD is a really good kit,expensive but good.

 

 

well i for one am very glad they are called vertical doors.
cause if i had lambo doors they would definitely be on a lambo.
