Lower unpainted portion of bumper.

Lower unpainted portion of rear bumper.
I'm referring to the black plastic section where the exhaust ports and the rotary accents are attached. I just wanted to get some clarification on whether this part is sold as a separate piece from the whole bumper assembly. I have some dings and scratches on mine from accidentally backing into a low fence while parking ( bonehead ). I'd like to just replace that piece(s) since the rest of the bumper is fine. Any info would be most appreciated. Thank you all in advance

I have exactly the same issue (1" scratch) with the lower black portion of my rear bumper. I figured that this would be no big deal to take care of. What I have found so far:
- The bumper and the center lower black trim are one piece. The black trim around the exhaust pipes are separate pieces. My damage, of course, is on the center section.
- So far I have found no one to repair it. Plastic repair people sent me to the body shop. Body shop says they can't do it. The issue in both places is matching the grain of the rough surface. wefixbumpers.com has not responded to my query.
- Replacement bumper looks pretty expensive. Third party rears bumpers are in the $700-$800 range.
- Mazmart doesn't have one right now.
Let me know if you find a solution that works.

Thanks for the info. Knowing that the rear grill and bumper are one pieces changes everything. Replacing the entire bumper would be costly. I was hoping that it would be an easy fix. I'm curious as to what wefixbumpers.com has to say. My damage is barely noticeable. Only I seem to be the only one who can see the damage. It happened yesterday so I'm still a bit steamed at myself for doing it. I can learn to live w/ it for now till a more cost effective solution appears or I decide to go for a Mazdaspeed bodykit. Again thank you very much for the information

Dont think there's a quick fix to this, the OEM parts wouldn't be cheap either. Unless you just wanna touch with a black touch up paint...

I was hoping that there was a bumper plastic repair available similar to the magic they do with repairs on interior plastic vinyl and leather.

Here is the rear bumper parts diagram.
Unfortunately it looks like the rear grill is part of the main bumper. It is not available separately.
Big thanks to Truemagellan for getting the PDF for us to view
