I'm seeing two different side mirrors now... same car? or are the mirrors an option, too?

 

No sun roof? Also doesn't look any lower than stock. The stock wheels are not wide enough for that body kit either.

Its definitely strato blue.....but really doesnt look purple in person....my son has a Mazda3 in the winning blue....we did look at the strato.....which I liked and tried to talk him into but he wouldnt have any of it....

I think the MS special edition would look awesome in the black cherry!! but then again Im partial.. :D

 

If it was a true MS, it would be turbo'd. As in the MS Miata. MS only offers the appearence options...ie body kit, rims, suspension, no engine work at all. Still, a hot ride though!

 

Thanks guys i now know what MY STRATO will look like with the kit on! Sadly it cost $5-6k over here

ok the Euro market get all the colours but you get the car for ALOT less!

I wouldnt call suspension 'appearence options' and there is a differnt air-filter, lighter flywheel, better clutch, cat back exhaust, differnt engine tune, fresh air duct for the intake, differnt catalytic converter, differnt sparkplugs, rebalanced eccentric shaft (better response), enigne grounding kit. While this only adds maby 10hp above the stock 'high-power' type S...you also have to remeber there car is producing more power than ours already.

Match these engine improvements (better response is the overall goal) to the upgraded suspension system and you have 1 bad little car!

The Mazdaspeed RX8 in the JDM trim (a factory MS8 not a dealer made one) would be quite a bitter quicker than a stock US rx8, by any measure (straight line, braking, handling).

You dont have to bolt a turbo on this car if you want REAL performance, thats just if you interested in going as fast as you can in a straight line.

My feeling is this car with the MS goodies would be total bliss for a person that likes a responsive car that handles well!

 

would it still be just as much if you bought the kit from a source here and had it shiped to you?
