hey so im lookin for some bulb replacements for my fog lights and parking lights(the little dinky ones in the headlight setup) can you use 4300k HID bulbs or do you have to get the whole conversion. my headlights are already the HID so i want it all to look the same. i hate how i have three different colored lights comin from the front of my car

you can't use 4300k HID bulbs in your foglights or parking lights. all you need is to get H11 bulbs and 194 bulbs.

the first like ten sets of bulbs you can stick right in there. you pull out your stock one, plug in the LED.

You can get HID for the fogs but would they even fit the fog lamp housing? I think you have to fabricate your own , a "retrofit" to get HID fogs. Is this what you were asking? Imo just get different bulbs , they do its job...really well.

true, rotary rasp did HID fogs on his old 8 and had to fab everything from the bracket to hold the ballast and the lense to fit the stock fog light housing.

Well I have HID fogs at 3000k. The only thing i had to do was buy at HID h11 kit. So that everything would fit. Since I have HID headlight i just had to get another set of d2s, depending on how many kelvins i wanted.

Bought my H11 fog bulbs from Hoen-Usa and they are great! Here is the link...

http://hoen-usa.com/fog.htm

As for the lights in the front/parking/reverse/brake etc. v-leds is your place. No need for a conversion just swap out bulbs. Good Luck!

So do you have to upgrade to a new ballast if you want to put 12k D2S bulbs in headlights? I have OEM HIDs and want 12k, but don't wanna pay $200-300 for kit, rather jus pay $100 for bulbs or w/e. Anyone know a good HID bulb seller that I will get a true purple light emitting 12k bulb?

you can just get the bulbs. OEM ballasts will work.
