leds or stealth bulbs

hey guys
i'm looking to swap out my stock amber blinkers. I went to autolumination and saw that they offer stealth "chrome" amber bulbs (what i originally wanted) and also amber LEDs. Does anyone have any experience with the LEDs? Do they remain clear when un-lit, giving the same uniform "clear" look that the stealth bulbs would? I'm assuming that the LEDs are brighter than the stealth ones, also.

Let me know!
Thanks in advance

I have LED turn signals, reverse lights and tail lights from the same source.

Yes.

I don't know about the stealth bulbs, but I would not recommend the LEDs... as I posted earlier in another thread, I'm considering to return to the stock bulbs. Reason is that these LED bulbs (and I have the 15-LED wedge bulbs) are way less bright than the stock incandescent ones. For instance, the turn signals are about half as bright (or maybe 60%) as the stock bulbs, and they don't fill the reflectors well. There are too few LEDs shining to the side/backwards to sufficiently utilize the reflectors.
So, if anything, get the stealth bulbs. The LEDs are seriously falling short in brightness. I'm quite disappointed.

i think the side markers and blinkers have to be amber by california law. I know people out here who have clears, but I'd rather not chance it. Especially since I can get the same look (pretty much) with stealth bulbs
