LED Tail light alternatives?
I'm a huge fan of the LED lights in some of the newer generation of cars. Mainly, the TLs, G35. I even hear the new Zs are outfitted with them.
I'm sure it'll be a matter of time before Mazda jumps the wagon and revise future 8s with LED tail lamps (other than the runnings ones along the "spider arms"). But what about current owners? :o
I came across this, and was wondering what you thought:
http://www.spiderlite.com/
They seem to be a simple and somewhat inexpensive alternative for people who want LED tail lights. Not altezzzzza-ish :p
So my question is, any of you have experience with these? Do they actually work as advertised. Will I need the LED Exhaust tips from Pepboys to match? :D

I found this thread:
Looks like interests died.
Found this on the S2K board. The guy seems to like them. I thought it looks okay. I'm curious to see what an 8 would look like.

Huh... Kinda cool how they came up with such a versatile design. I'm impressed.
The 3-point design might actually look kinda cool on our cars, too. Fits the whole triangle scheme nicely. If there were actually a chance of them fitting, I'd gladly buy a pair and post some photos. I DO have LED running lights (the bulbs next to the main headlights), but they're the same size as the stock bulbs... Not sure how/if the rear lights would work, or even what sizes I'd need?

Wasn't that Rotary Rasp? Check the Western forum for LED lights.

Sorry, not yet. Did find a local shop that has these in stock and can install them. I might get some in the near future, and will definitely post if I do.
