Hey can i ask something...When the door lifts up doew the panel hits anywhere???I ve ordered a 90degree vertical door kit and i m trying to imagine the clearance of the panel!!??

 

The Door opens pefect.. does not hit anywhere...but it takes both hands to open from the inside.

 

I have a question, in the description when you order the kit, it mentions that inner fender may need to be rolled. Did you have to do that and if so what is that? Is talking that the door might rub with the side panel?

 

Ok I just cut out the inner fender .....It's the hinge that is in the way its big!!! We just used some good cutters and cut...not that hard...and for the 3rd or 4th time The door does not rub on anything....

 

I ve just paid my lambo doors kit...Excellent...They say it can lift up to 90degree up and up to 30 out...Nice....Gt Factory Diablo Door Hinge Kit...Let's see what this kit can make...

The only thing i am confused about is the door panel??Can we lift the door up to 80-90 degrees without the panel hit anywhere???

I ll post pics and infos as soon as i install it...Let's see what will come first my bodykit or the doors??Vs bodykit comes in 8days..!!!I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

Maybe if you do some welding and cut up your inner fender you'll be able to go up 90 degree's, but if you just bolt it on there is no way...

 

^ You mean just rolling the inner fender or some serious modding???

 

OK I finally got my replacement shock in last night we insatlled it and the doors finnaly do what they should be doing...It now springs up when you open it very easy now.

My lambo kit gt factory diablo door hinge is on customs...I ll have it in my hands Monday...

I understand how opening requires caution, and I never slam.. but
your statement about slamming scares me away.. or maybe I am just reading you wrong..
The slam part makes the kit sound flimsy.

also note take your time when opening as stated these are for show..so show them off it looks cool and you know everyone is watching when they see those babies rising....

 

I have problem probably with the struts..The doors open very easy up but won't close without a lot of power...Very difficult to lift them down to close them...What is the problem??Should i ask for replacement struts??

 

Is there some kind of pressure adjustment for the strut?

 

I really don't know i ll see again today but again i ll just get my replacemtents if i decided to and then sell the kit cause i ve run out of money with all the turbo staff

 

Hey storemannormin do you know how many lbs are your gas struts???I ve got replacements and they are 80lbs...How much are yours??I really want to know cause i can't wait till tomorrow for my mechanic to tell me if its ok or not....

 

No I,m not really sure...I can't remember.

 

I can close and open my doors with one hand.....I would ask for replacement strust..I got another set free. I had a problem with one of the at install,they sent me 2 new ones right away no questions asked.
