Lady in Red
This brings back some not to distant memories lol. A freshly painted VR 8 is sexy. I nearly cried when I got my first scratch afterwards. Looking fwd to seeing the finished product.
Some half-assed masking... Is this the same shop that keeps ******* up your paint?
$3,500 is a bit low for a true and quality VR paint job, or any three stage paint job for that matter.

I guess we will see how it comes out.
I got a few quotes before hand and $3500-4500 was norm around here for a tear down and repaint. Yes, it is the same shop. I was happy with the quality of the last work they did they just had a hard time getting the paint to match exactly. That is why I and the Insurance Company are making them repaint the whole car. If it is not to my satisfaction it will be done again or by someone else. I have life time grantee on the work they do that is from the shop and the insurance company.

Here are some more progress pics. She just came out of paint and needs to be wet sanded. I am also waitng on the new tail lamps to come in and I should have it back this Friday. I need to get some back to black to take care of some of those faded trim parts like the grill and vents.
