Updated, Kit painted and installed.
I just bought this kit, it's poly urethane.
Unlike the mazdaspeed kit where the back is a lip (from what i've read) this is a complete replacement bumper, requiring no cutting of the back bumper.
Just would like your opinion on it, i know it's not genuine mazdaspeed, but it only cost like 930$ including shipping.
CHECK IT OUT HERE

It's an off-brand, but you might get lucky with the fitment. The price is pretty good, and I like the MazdaSpeed style better than any of the other kits. By all means let us know how it goes.

I got hooked in at first and tried to put a replica on mine, when we recieved it the thing was the biggest piece of **** ever, and I still don't know if the bodyshop was even able to return it.
here's an example, it was the m1 speed from extreme dimensions
front - had no mounting holes along the bottom of the fron lip section, sides hung off about a 1/4 inch on both sides, corner marker holes/slots were too small for my corner lenses (WTF?!?!) and the lines from the hood did not line up at ALL.
back - same story, no way to mount it, fitment ultra shitty etc etc
As long as people keep buying shitty knock offs, companies will keep making them, but why people, why do you spend 30k on a car and then cheese the f out of it with a 300 dollar kit? I basically had to buy 2 kits to get my car right, first the shitty knock off that I learned my lesson on, then I went ahead and got the real stuff and it was PERFECT right out of the box, no issues, no having to rig it to work, no problems whatsoever, plus it is oem warranty etc. You're really not saving anything buying a knock off, you're keeping shitty companies in business, and you're not doing your 8 justice by putting a cheesed out ill fitting kit on it, do yourself and your car (and your sanity and pocketbook) a favor and go authentic if you can, you'll come out ahead financially and be much happier in the long run.

I think what it is, is some of these people have the car bought for them...so they don't realize what they may be doing....? That is why replica's exist, to help those at the other end of the income spectrum. If you have the money for the real thing, the real thing is always better...unless we're talking about silicone.

Muahaha, yes knockoffs stink except for silicone. In the end the cost to re-fit everything and paint is going to cost just as much as the real deal. Hopefully everything fits correctly with no gaps or sagging.

If it fits well enough, and the body shop can mount and paint it for a lot less than the "original" costs, so much the better. When the kit costs 1/3 what the original costs, that's a lot of leeway.
I wanted to get MazdaSpeed knee pads for my car (for autox/track)... they were leather and cost $200 for the set. I went to Zeta and got rubber-like versions for $20 each. I don't mind quality, but when it comes to price gouging, I'll go with a well-made knockoff any day.

There are some quality replicas out their.... I bought the VIS Replica of the MS Kit and that was pretty much bolt on, the pics of my car will attest to that...... I will not pass it off as a genuine piece simply because its not..... But Ive seen the fitment of the real MS kit and my VIS and there are NO difference, aside from the grey painted part on the real and the all one color on mine.
I have no issues with replicas, that fit right.... 30 grand is alot for a car, and theirs a degree of cheap I would go.. I spent nearly 1000 CDN for a replica, but after paint and install it still was less than half the price of the real deal.
if you buy a poor replica (majority of the replicas are poor quality) you will get poor results... But purchase a decent brand and get a good body shop working on your car, and you will have a great looking kit.

when it was placed on the ground it was affecting that side, if i held it up, it evened itself out and was fine. i just got done putting on the front bumper somewhat (not installed or anything...it's just hanging there) and it fits pretty much perfectly, i'm going to have to use a dremel tool and cut off a small amount where the side marker lights go, but nothing too difficult. so far i'm very pleased with the quality of the product.
