JDM Bumper
Hi,
I've a 2004 JDM 8. I want to get rid of the big Jap license plate holes in the rear bumper. Any ideas on how to do this??
Cheers!

i don't think you can do anything about it.. the only option for you:
- send to bodywork to cover it for you or
- make a big license plate to cover it or
- change to 05 bumper or aftermarket bumper

Foo, where did you get that? That's a good idea!!
It's possible to get a Jap style licence plate but it looks horrible in my opinion. Plus there's the problem of the screw holes from the Euro plate being visible then.
I've thought about giving it to a body shop but I'm not too keen on it for some reason. Can't really afford to replace the bumper as I need my car every day of the week and have no other form of transport as I work 9 miles from home.
I was thinking of putting another panel over the whole area but don't know how to attach it without using screws or glue which probably will wear easily.

^ you can ask your local license plate shop to make those size, i think it only cost around 15-20 bucks with those simple design and FYI i just used 3M glue to hold it without any problem

^ good idea but i think it depend on size of the number and digits to be use on the license plate it self.. some country got 3 letters + 4 digits, where the size of it must fit the rule to be legal on the road..

I had an idea of screwing a pice of plastic over the gap, using bodyfiller to make a smooth surface then repainting. What do you guys think?
