Very easy, the true MS wing will come with two paper templates that you cut out with scissors, then tape to you trunk lid to mark the hole locations. Just two holes on each side, and it should take you about an hour to get everything done. Really nothing difficult about the install, as long as you can read and have patience. After drilling the holes, you will mount the metal risers. Then you'll place the lower portion of the wing, taping it to the trunk. The directions will tell you how to mkae sure its lined up (basically, you dry fit the lower portion...put a piece of blue painters tape on your trunk, near the third brake light, and a piece above that, on the lower portion of the wing. Take a pen and mark a line on both pieces of tape so that they make one solid line from top tape to bottom tape. Remove the lower portion, peel of the tape, and reattached...using the blue tapes to help you make the lines match again). Attaching the top portion of the wing is the easiest part. Have fun.

If you have the ability to do it yourself, I say go for it. When you are going to drill the holes, just make sure you use a punch of something to mark where you want to drill...would hate to see that drill bit slip and scratch up the trunk.

Since no one here has posted any pics, here's one of mine:
