Ings Spoiler

So ive searched and only came up with a few hits..

Spoilers4less.com=fits perfect, except they dont carry them anymore, someone emailed them in 2011 and they said the company stopped manufacturing them... poops i believe it was $120 and came painted.

fluid/race roots= doesnt even come close to fitting, only made around 10 back in 09 or 10, fit so bad and never continued. believe it was 500 painted

fluid= i believe he had a cf ings spoiler, dont know what ever happened to that. believe it was 450

ings from japan=id rather not pay 700 + $ to import and ship
http://japanparts.com/db/partslist.php?maker=41&page=12 700 bucks and 300 to ship to my door unpainted.

Wings from VIS= mysterious, i cant find any info on it.. Few have the bodykit but none have the spoiler, found a thread where someone ordered it and they sent back a spoiler meant for a bmw or something like that.. after he was refunded he bought the authentic. vis is 205-285 unpainted

ebay= great fitment, but i cant find any listings on ebay that are ings style for the rx8. not sure in how much it was, guessing 150-400 painted

So, does anyone have any 2012 source for this spoiler, or is my only hope to buy through ings japan??

If anyone has the vis, please do tell how it fit.

A lower cost legit spoiler would work better over one of those replicas if cost is the issue, due to better fitment if your after a lip type spoiler. MY RE spoiler was installed in less then 15 minutes and fits perfectly. There are a few in the $500-$600 range shipped so that may be an option for you.

i emailed spoilers4less, waiting on a responce, but i think im going to get the same response as the guy in 2011 did.

the fluid/rr is a joke and i dont even want it for free.

Im sure if i emailed VIS they would tell me that it fits better than oem

I guess my only option is to find a used one, or maybe convince the factory that supplied spoilers4less with them to make a few more.. possibly with a GB.. idunno.

BB, is this the one you are talking about?

Not my style of a spoiler, but if you like it, then it's all good.

i didnt like the ings either, until i saw nyc driftkings rx8 in person. Its so pretty.

The Re-A is pretty but i dont think it extends as far as the ings and i dont really like how it comes to a tip at the end. There are alot more lip spoilers out there, but they really arent worth the price, they are soo tinnyyy.

maybe i can convince nycdriftking to let me vacuum form his

boom, PM'ing now.

EDIT: Just saw pics on the thread you started, damn that looks off. Looks like a fluid replica... are there any marking on the spoiler? i wonder if it is VIS or the one Brice made. The one brice had made had a similar issue.

The RA actually extends farther out and is pretty flat and doesn't kick up as much as people think. It still does come to a point in the middle, which is why I filled the third brake light on it which doesn't lend well to that point. Now the point actually makes a clean breaking line with the rest of the rear. These pictures are pretty bad examples and angles from RA. The INGS covers much more of the deck lid and, from what I have heard, weighs something like 40lbs, although someone with a real one would have to confirm. It is definitely a nice spoiler though.

I like this one from Katayama Yoshimi it's $423.00 plus shipping and a small transfer fee.

Google Translate

Japan Parts can import this for a small fee, you have to email them for details. Bottom line is, you can get anything from Japan you want. You just have to be persistant, make contacts and be willing to pay the $$$ if need be. It's not just about showing off and labels, the real deal is worth it if you like quality.

Almost forgot about these guys. Jason Rangsipat was a consultant there who I dealt with a couple of years ago about an inquiry, very nice guy.
