hey there im considering to buy an replica ings kit, anybody have a replica ings+1 installed on their 8? want to post some pictures? im just worrying about fitment issues and bodywork and i dont want it to end up costing more than a real ings kit, thanks guyss

yeah it is a big no no, i just got it for my rx8 and the shop told me that it didn't fit right. i went to look at it and there was a about half a inch gap between the front bumper and the hood. the in the rear it didn't fit right. Pretty much i have to pay extra for them to fix all the issues and make it fit and look right.

 

hmm....did you guys have to end up spending more than it was originally to get a authentic kit??

 

i have a brand new ings replica body kit sitting in my shop at work wanting to get rid of it...where are you located?

 

I try and stay away from replicas as a general rule of thumb... you get what you pay for
