im thinking of buying clear corners and i also wanted white bulbs for them. I wasnt sure if it legal to have white bulbs.... or do they have to be amber? i think i read that clear corners itself is illegal but nobody cares. I dont know if i should just keep amber bulbs or go for white bulbs. anyone know if its legal?

 

While it is common to put in clear corner lenses, it is illegal even if you put the amber bulbs behind them in this state.

 

PS....You will never have a problem with or get pulled over for it.

Al, its not like he is running aftermarket exhaust with no cat, or god forbid not displaying his front plate.

 

I know. I was just answering his question. And yes, an aftermarket exhaust (eg. catback) is technically illegal in Illinois too.

 

I have been running Bright white LEDS all around my 8 for years and never have problems at all.. cops even comment on them.. lol

 

thanks for the help everybody. i still going to put clear corners but i might just leave the amber bulbs on them. chief!
