Now I know about 80% of the things that come off of eBay is junk. But I came across this lip kit for about 250 shipped. I know "you get what you pay for" but I figure for only 250 bucks why not try. Who knows maybe i'll get lucky. I have bought a lip off of eBay for my old del sol for like 80 dollars and it fit pretty good. As for the kit, I dunno... to be honest, the pics look like it is already sagging but it may be just bad photography.

 

It's ebay. I'd be insanely wary. But if you are willing to lose the money testing it out, then go for it.

Just don't expect greatness and I think you will be fine.

sides and rear are INGS, and the front is based on the Burnout kit, but not an exact replica.

 

You should get this kit, and then take it to that body shop that totally ruined that guys 350Z with drywall screws and crappy paint.....anyone have a link to that thread?

If the picture of the actual products look like they're sagging there's a good chance that the product will probably SAG. I mean ****, the side skirts in the picture look like they're suffering from depression.

From the ebay link - the front is a knock off of the KDV Burnout Kit II, The sides are a knock off of the **** In A Bag bodykit(aka, unknown), and the rears are knock off fairings from the Ings +1 kit. The kit looks like something i made after too many drinks on a friday...tbh


My suggestion: Save your money - if you're going to purchase knock offs - i recommend googling Shine Autoproject. Ken has supplied more than a few forum members on this board as well as other forums. I currently own their version of the kdv burnout II kit too. Fitment was almost spot on (9/10 on most places) and pretty durable.

Otherwise - save your money and purchase the real thing.

 

haha. well, it doesnt look as decent as it did on the iphone at work...i really like the look of the lips. ill look up shine. what is a good sideskirt and rear that would look ok with it?

 

If you like simple - just get the full burnout II kit.

If you wanna go for style points you could always try checkin' out the bodykit's thread in the exterior forums. Lot's of useful info.

THREAD RESURRECTION! Has anyone on this forum ordered this kit? It's still available on ebay so there has to be people buying them? I'm just curious about the rear flares that mount by where the exhaust exits the rear bumper.
