Hi guys, I saw this 8 on the forums a few days ago and I really liked its purple paintjob! I am getting a full body paint job in a few days and I really want to have the same exact color as this 8. However, I need help identifying this color and color code, so can anyone on the forums help me identify this purple paint?

 

I really don't think there is a color code for that. I would do a black base coat with a red pearl (4 drops per gallon of unthinned base) and a hint of gold pearl (1 drop per gallon of unthinned base) over it and then clear coat. You will have the same color.

 

Black cherry mica is a better color so do that one

haha^^ You want to paint your 8 that color on purpose? To each their own I guess.

 

that's not a Mazda color so it would be tough for us to know the paint code.
if you want a slightly darker version, look into the Black Cherry Mica used by Mazda for the 2005 'Shinka' edition.

Either that or find a good body shop that does custom work, show them those pictures and let them figure it out.

 

What is the piece on the rear bumper?? Random diffuser?

 

That wing on that car.... painful. Why do I get a feeling it's a stock engine too?

( meant purple one, the red one above this post looks not bad, could be the chick though ;p)

 

aren't MOST of our engines stock?
unless you're sporting custom seals or lightened rotors. Or maybe some new camshafts?
