According to my Hyper Rev its the ShiftSports, and based on the layout of the pics I would say its a knock off of that,,, Ive also seen it somewhere else but cant remember

Thats why I said AIT but I wasnt sure, and really I meant VIS.

I'm getting all my stuff mixed up, VIS is cheap cf knockoff hoods and AIT is cheap knockoff body kits. So yeah I think I seen it from VIS

btw for all you peeps with seibon.. seibon is actually the VIS replica.. search the companies out you will see that VIS is the original CF manufacturer and seibon just recently came in, but at the right time with all the CF hype :P

 

Really? I've only heard bad things about vis with fitment so I assumed they were the replica company

 

some people have had issues with VIS fitment, but by and large that isn't an issue. Seibon has just spent a ton more money then VIS and therefore has the name recognition. I went with seibon knowing it was a replica because of a few things

1: I had seen half a dozen seibon hoods of various styles and they all fit well

2: I have no patience when it comes to something I want and VIS vs Seibon was 5 months vs 5 weeks

3: I purchased mine at the same time as another forum member so we were able to get a great deal and half shipping.

4: VIS is authentic and charges for that.. I understand that they came out with it first, but what they charge for the name seemed outlandish to me. I'm not a fan of buying "knock offs" but in this case I couldn't bring myself to spend a premium price for an equal product. Seibon makes a very very very good CF product, it's just unfortunate they don't make anything that isn't a replica that I like.

if you go and look on eBay seibon goes for like 650 and vis goes for 450, unless of course it's some knockoff company using vis' name

 

Since when is VIS "authentic"???
