Ideas for new front facsia on VR!!

Hi all!!!!
I'm starting to think about getting a new front facsia for my VR 8. I've taken a look at a few different ones, but thought I'd pose the question to all of you to see if I can find something diff. or something less popular.
I've got pics on my profile of what I've done so far. All suggestions are welcome, but please just don't be a jack *** about it.
I'm looking for YOUR opinions on what you think would be good for MY car. Not looking to be told to go check other fourms for ideas, cause I've already been doing that, ALOT!!!! I've got ideas, I just want to see what other 8 lovers come up with for my car!!

Before I offer suggestions I'd like to know what your ideas are? What have you looked and what have you ruled out. That way we avoid the, "yeah I know I already looked at that" response from you.

No worries, if I've already seen it!!!
Just wondering what others think will look good with what I've already got on the car. Even though I've seen it, and didn't like it the first time. Doesn't mean my mind can't be changed with good influence,

Black grilles, red on red looks horrible.
If the bumper is a replica... get the real one
That's all I can think of.

Before I commit to any significant change to a car/house, etc I take a photo and xerox it. Then I trace (in pencil) the outlines only (for perfect perspective) taped on a window with the light shining thru it so I can see easily. On a flat surface ink over the pencil smoothly EXCEPT where you are doing the change. When ink is dry erase all pencil marks. Make 6 copies of the outline. This requires zero artistic ability but a steady hand.

Then color/draw (pencil in) your proposed mods. It will be exactly how it will look and you can play with variations using other xeroxes and whiteout and colors. You can even post your ideas for zero cost if desired.

Method has worked for me for years. You will still get the odd person who is concerned if a stripe is "painted on" or "just tape". You have to live with your choices unless you save all the old parts.

***Okay on another note. I have always been of the understanding that carbon fiber hoods are used as a weight saving competitive advantage compared to steel. With our aluminum hoods that would seem an unnecessary expense unless you smashed the original? Personally I'm not crazy about how they look but understand the performance "appearance". Personally I prefer my cars to be "sleepers" and not cop magnets BUT to each their own. I'll probably never use Nitrous either but that's just a personal preference too.

twistedwankel, thats a great idea. I'm going to have to try that out before I make a final choice.
The gas cap came with the car and I'm not a fan. I've got a stock VR one on order. I've been looking into the MS spoiler, but still not totally sold on it. As for the red on red grille, also not a fan, but not going to bother painting it since the front facsia is what I'm looking to change.
So far this is the one I'm most interested in:

I'm fairly certain there is a VR with that bumper on this board so do some searches to see if you can find it. Not many like it so be prepared for some comments. IMO the MS front you have looks much better that the Abflug.

Sir Hank, try going to bodykitwiki

look around and give an idea of what style of fascia youre looking for. racer/luxo/minimal etc. not ALL the bodykits are there but it should give us a good idea of where to start for u.

Happy New Year!!!!!

maybeashinka? thanks for the site. Got some good ideas there for sure!!! I know the Abflug isn't very minimal, but I'd have to say I prefer minimal.
I'm really starting to think I should just keep the MS bumper, change the grille and add some fog lights.
Anyone know where I could find Black or CF grille inserts for the MS facsia?? Or do they even make them??

Abflug was a bit too long in the front for me, My R-Magic.. is good because its wild enough, but not ridiculous lipped like the Veilside..
Uhh... Depends on if you want a low sitting bumper too... the Rmagic one sits really lower than the usual suspects... least all three of mine have..
