i want to know how to remove the license plate light bulb so i can put a led one but when i tried i feel like ima break it does any one know to to remove it?

 

Well...........you see what I will call the entire black(possibly gray) housing with the semi-clear lens cover?

What I do is slide that whole black piece back towards the opening. I do this by using my fingers on the very edge that is the closest to you. don't pry it or anything, just push on it back towards the opening one side at a time.

Push about 1/2 inch in from the corner of that black assembly and push straight back............if that makes sense.
Once you get that side loose, do the other. Then you will see how that black piece actually kind of snaps on(if you will) into these two small holes or slots.

After that all that, just wiggle it out of the hole and remove the clear plastic lens(you should see where to push in or squeeze in on that) and you're all set. Might need a thin screwdriver for this part. <--- this part is fuzzy to me, I can't remember if you have to take that clear lens of to get at the socket, or if the bulb socket just turns out from the back? I think you go through the front(clear cover) though.

Let me know if I remembered all this correctly!

theres also a suggestion of getting someone with very small hands. like a kid

 

It kinda freaks me out everytime I go to do it, but like everything else.
Once you see how it fits in there and what to do......well, then it's just possible knuckle bust time!


I wonder if he got it out?
