How to install B Pillar Applique
Hi all
I have the original factory B pillar kit. Unfortunately the instructions are in Japanese.
Can anyone help on this one. I gather I need to use a hairdryer at some stage.
My appliques have the adhesive already on them (there like a giant sticker)
Cheers

there's really only one way you can mess up.
if you don't line it up correctly...
but if you must know
line it up and peel from a top corner, peel and fold it slanted so you have the applique flat against the pillar with the paper backing sticking out. should only have a bit of adhesive exposed so you can line up the top. keep your hand sliding down the applique as you pull the backing in the same fashion. this will keep it aligned and flat.

Thanks for the feedback
I guess it's just peel and stick. The manual showed a hairdryer and another contact sheet that goes on first. Perhaps it relates to an older type of applique.
Thought maybe you heat up the panel before you stick it on.

yeah just keep test-fitting them and eyeball just about how precise you want each edge of the applique to be in relation to the edges of the b-pillar..Because once you start, it really doesnt want to come off.
