That depends on your idea of hard and easy!

I haven't installed it personally, but have removed my front fascia, and that was easy. IMO it should be easy.... but I tend to do all my own car stuff myself. The mazdaspeed kit has a perfect fitment from what I hear.

Hey thanks for the replys...

Iv been looking on http://www.rotaryextreme.com/msrx8.html for the mazdaspeed kit and found it.....But i also find this site last nite and the same kit is about half the price, but it does have a different title "Mazda m-power jtz body kit mazda rx8"... this same kit but different name is found at http://www.hopupracing.com/mamjtzbokitm.html for half the price..... Do i need to be careful not to buy a rip of mazdaspeed kits? are there rip offs out there? please help!!!!

There are replica of Mazdaspeed kits out there , like http://www.rotaryextreme.com/msstyle.html
But rotary extreme is a respectable company so the kit may fit right( 90% sure) . But personally I just bought the real mazda speed kit to save me the trouble and knowing that the real kit is ABS plastic just gives me releif that if a shopping cart hits my bumper , I don't have to worry about cracks too much.

Try Trussville Mazda or Rosenthal Mazda in the vendors section.

Rosenthal and Trussville both have a web store. I'm sure they could ship to UK.

I believe Rotary Extreme's kit is guaranteed to fit. And, I'm not sure how you figure the kit from HopUpRacing is cheaper that RE's... Hopup's is $1799 for 3 pieces, and RE's price for the same 3 pieces is $1750. Just FYI.

There have been other posts regarding MS body kit fitment. Have you tried searching the forum?

I just installed a MazdaSpeed style body kit. I thought you'd like to see it.

That rocks!! Does the Mazdaspeed kit come painted? Mind if I ask how much you paid and where you got it? How long did the install take? Did you do it yourself?

Is it possible to use the foglights on front end?

No I didn't install it myself, I brough it to the shop, it took them a while to complete (1 week), because they were busy, and there were small modification to the places where side markers go (they had to make bigger holes to fit the light bulbs).

No it cames primed and I painted into two colors: Factory color and Gun-metallic at the bottom.

The fog lights don't really look good in this bumper as I put mesh grill into it. I tried to fit the fog lights behind mesh grill but doesn't look good, so I just left a fog light switch free for Neon underbody kit or something else.

I got it from the website.

yes, its fiberglass, but it seems very light for some reason, it feels like ABS Plastic, but they told me it's a fiberglass

Great looking mod. As a future 8 owner I can't wait to buy a kit. By the time I get one I'm hoping the Buddy2 or the Widebody kit will be readily available. You should post it up on Cardomain.
